Biography
I’m Nicolás Polo, I was born on October 24, 1983 in the city of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I’m passionate about music and it was installed in my life from an early age. At the age of 9 I started taking piano lessons, but all I did was play with the percussion sounds, and it didn't take long for me to start with the drums.
With the support of my family, at the age of 11, I started taking drum lessons and never stopped playing again. At 14 I had my first band and to this day I continue to play in various projects.
The bands in which I have been developing for several years are Asspera, Insobrio, Misson and I have the pleasure of accompanying Adrián Barilari (singer of Rata Blanca) in his solo project. He also participated in different musical projects and worked with different artists as a session musician or virtually sending them the tracks online.
For more than 15 years I have been teaching from initial to advanced levels. The classes are taught in my private studio in the city of Buenos Aires and can be in person or online, which allows me to connect with students from all over the country.
At the same time and for several years I have been working as a Drumtech assisting drummers and producers, helping to achieve the drum sounds they are looking for in their productions. My job is to provide the artists with all the necessary instruments and to assist throughout the recording process. This starts from the tuning to the configuration of the microphones according to the audio that is sought.
Since 2020 I’m also offering the possibility of sending drumtrackson line anywhere in the world from my home studio located in the city of Buenos Aires.
